Coro Sura

This choir was founded in May 1988 through the initiative of its director in order to professionalize choral singing in Costa Rica and as a first step in the Didactic Cultural Extension Project, aimed at rural and poor urban areas of the country. Members are required to have graduated from a music program, be in the last years of such a program, or have considerable choral experience. The choir prepares productions in a very short time and accepts any musical challenge, both within and outside the country.
